Mother's Day Terrarium
Apr 20, 2017 — by Chelsey Bishoff
Plants always make the perfect gift for mom! Not only are succulents a charming room accent, they are extremely popular so it's nearly impossible to go wrong. Today, we are making it easy on all the mama's out there by using a faux succulent. Yup, that means no upkeep! Even better! However, if you would like, totally feel free to use an authentic succulent or air plant. Let's get started!
What you will need:
- Glass terrarium (can be found at local craft store or home goods store)
- Pebbles
- Faux succulent
Begin by putting a light layer of pebbles at the bottom of the terrarium.
Next, wiggle in the succulent.
Once placed perfectly centered, pour in the rest of the pebbles to surround the plant.
How simple and beautiful! Who wouldn't want to gift this? I almost want to keep it for myself ;)
Set in the window sill, on a desk or anywhere else in any home!
For the final touch, add a tag for Mother's Day! We made ours with some scrap cardboard and jute.
Perfect room decor! Happy Mother's day!
