Spooky Potion
Nov 1, 2017 — by Chelsey Bishoff
The perfect Halloween decor for spooky vibes! These potions are so much fun to set out for any Halloween get together. Decorate them in any area: from the punch bowl table, to the snack bar, or anywhere else you may need a little touch of creepy! Follow along as we take you step by step.
What you will need:
- Glass bottles
- Halloween themed paper
- Green tea, raspberry tea, mango tea
- Food coloring
- Vegetable oil
- Hole puncher, silver metallic marker, black yarn
Step 1: Brew a bag of green tea, raspberry tea and mango tea in their own individual mugs. We are using these teas to get a green potion, red potion, and orange potion.
Step 2: Once the tea is brewed, pour the 3 different teas into the glasses individually. Take the red food coloring and drop in a single drop. Do the same thing for the green and the orange. Then add a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Shake it up and see what you get!
This should be your outcome!
Step 3: Time to make the labels. You will need: halloween themed paper, sliver sharpie, hole punch and string.
Use the sharpie to label your potions. Take the yarn to string through the hole in the paper. Hang them from the top of the bottles.
This should be the result!
Happy Halloween! Stay spoooooky!
