This weekend we wanted to bring a new fresh Spring look to our home! Today we will show you how to make this charming home accent with just a few supplies. Don't be fooled by the funky shape- it's a lot simpler than you think! Follow along as we add a bit of Spring cheer to our front porch.
What you will need:
Chicken wire
Scissors or wire cutters
Wire
Glue gun + glue sticks
LOTS of moss
Wooden star cut out (optional)
Begin by cutting your chicken wire in half.
Once you have both pieces, begin to shape them into 90 degree angles. We did this by smashing the wire together and forming a tube-like shape.
You will then have two pieces. Attach the two 90 degree angles with wire in the corners.
Secure corners.
Once your wreath has been attached and placed together, take your moss (which can be found at your local craft store. We used about 3 bags.) and glue all the way around the chicken wire. Do this until you can no longer identify the wire.
This next step is optional: We thought it added the perfect final touch! Here you see we picked up a wooden star cut out to accent our wreath with. Attach with wire. Feel free to use any other shape or object to best fit the look you are going for!
